My project to clean the stove yesterday failed. There were too many dirty dishes in the sink that had to be washed. So, in order to not lose my mind or my willpower to clean it this morning, I went to sleep yesterday with the following resolution: I would go to the market, first thing in the morning, to buy bread, ham, cheese and tomato (a classic in São Paulo).

Two meals in the day with the closest thing to fast food that I can eat. Of course it was delicious, and with no doubt I am going to buy the same food next time I’m cleaning my stove. And before you ask, no, I don’t clean it every day; and before you judge me for that, you don’t live with me to know why I do the things I do.

Now the stove is clean, the sink is clear of dirty dishes (except for a few plates), and I can work on producing content about English on the internet while my plants are outside relieving themselves of the heat wave in the heavy rain that is falling - I’m almost joining them.
