Nothing New
10:56I used to paint a lot. My clothes were always full of paint, and my mom was always embarrassed of people seeing me with clothes in that condition, but I loved to be covered in paint.
Years passed, I stopped trying to sell my art, and therefore I stopped painting until a few weeks ago, when I decided to make a doll house using cardboard boxes and papel mache. Now I want to paint everything, and as usual, I want to eat everything, too. Pringles, sandwich, ice cream, milk with pistachio whey.
Today for breakfast, and it couldn’t have been different, I had a bowl of popcorn and two mini Easter Chocolate Cakes, just because the weather was cloudy and I was watching one of my favourite movies ever: The Haunting of Seacliff Inn. But the sun is coming up shyly now, as I knew it would after 10:00 am, though I wish it would stay hidden the entire day as it did yesterday.
On the bright side, the warmth of the sun will dry my paint roller, and since I only have one for now, it will be nice to be able to use it to finish painting my board (the only thing missing for this project is a box of chalk). And I can do it on my table.
This morning I took off all the decorations and utility boxes from my table. They were nice to look at, and made journaling more accessible (now I need to stand up and walk a little to get my supplies), but it’s important to have more space to paint or to work on my 1000-piece puzzle – yeah, I do that now.
