House Chores

11:30

I’m delighted to inform you that a new heat wave just hit São Paulo. Authorities say the current weather will last for a week, but we, who live in this crazy city, know that the weather scientists can’t make such promises.

Can’t wait to make enough money to get the hell out of this area where all the houses are close to each other (it is a house piled up with another house and no big gardens to the ground to breathe). No more cats on my roof, no more sidewalks without trees, and hopefully, a lot of streets made with cobblestones instead of that black thing that absorbs too much heat and no water at all (it just increases the heat, you know).

But how to make enough money when one can’t work or think due to the excess of warmth that a heat wave usually brings?

And there’s so much that needs to be done. The dishes are in the sink (yesterday there was no water to wash them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯), my classes are not planned, the floor is dirty and everything is a mess, and I’m not even counting the study and research that needs to be done about killing cancer with fasting - can you imagine it, in the lottery of life, to get that devastating disease before you are 35?
